Thought for Today - God created everything -  You are NOT a MONKEY that changed into a human. The world didn't start without GOD! If there was a BIG BANG, it was because God said - "LET THERE BE..." and it was created! The Lord spoke to Job in the Old Testament: 4 "Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell [Me], if you have understanding.  5 Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it?  6 To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone,  7 When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy?  - Job 38:4-7 NKJV It takes more faith to believe that the universe was created without a Creator than it does to believe God created it.  Think deeply - research! Thought for Today - God's plan versus Satan's plan. Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden. This brought evil into the world. God had a plan to redeem and pay the legal penalty for sin - death and separation from God. GOD'S PLAN: GOD'S SEED would CRUSH the HEAD of the serpent. That means that the Messiah -Jesus Christ would defeat the enemy and take away his authority. The head represents authority and power. Thought for Today: God is looking for worshippers! He is God - we are not. He is our Creator. Our very breath comes from Him. Without Him we are nothing. Everything comes from Him and everything will go back to Him.  We own nothing. He is God. He is Lord.  One day we will all stand before Him and give an account for our lives. What did you do with Jesus? Did you make Him Lord of your life? He's the ONLY way to Heaven. He became sin for us on the Cross, so we can be made righteous. He was alive, He died and He rose again from the dead and is alive forevermore, so we can have life! Worship the Lord now, while you can. Thought  for Today – Will Jesus find FAITH in your life when He returns? Is God going to find faith in your life when Jesus comes back to the earth?  Just  having Jesus ask that question – makes me think – “why does He have to ask that  question?”   The question is being asked because there is an opportunity to NOT FIND faith when Jesus returns,  or He  can FIND FAITH in your life. God created the Heavens and the Earth with PASSION and PURPOSE! You are the reason for His Creation! You were created with a PURPOSE! He gave them DOMINION over the whole earth! Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and lost their dominion.  God the Father, sent Jesus His Son, to the earth to become a man to take the penalty of sin for us - so we can come back to God and have a relationship with Him once again. God is HOLY and no sin can enter into His presence.  Jesus became SIN for us - who knew no sin - so we could be made righteous - in right-standing with God.  Receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord and He will wash away all your sin and make you righteous in God's sight.  Ask Him to fill you with His Spirit!  You are loved! Thought for Today - FRUIT Part 3 - Did you know you that one day you can eat  from the "Tree of Life"? We talked yesterday about the fruit that got Adam and Eve in trouble - "Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil." God sent them out of the Garden of Eden and put an angel to protect "The Tree of Life," because had they eaten it - they would LIVE FOREVER in that fallen state! Father God had a plan to redeem mankind back to Himself through sending His Only Begotten Son to pay the penalty for our sin. So one day we could eat from that tree. For those who choose to make Jesus Lord - they'll be enjoying living in the New Heaven and Earth. They will eat the fruit from that "TREE OF LIFE" and live forever - without the curse that came through sin. All guilt, shame, pain, sickness, poverty and death will be gone forever!
